Mining Job : ERT Officer x2 - Simberi Gold Company Ltd

Simberi Gold Company Limited (St Barbara Group) is hiring 2 x Emergency Response Team (ERT) Officers for its open-cut gold mine on Simberi Island, New Ireland Province, Papua New Guinea.

• Position: Permanent full-time

Key Duties:

• Firefighting and emergency response
• Daily checks and servicing of emergency equipment
• Conducting safety inspections, rescue plans, and emergency response training

Requirements:

• Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response & Rescue (or equivalent)
• Senior First Aid Certificate
• Minimum 5 years’ emergency response experience
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• PNG Class 6 driver’s license (desirable)
