About the role:

They currently have an excellent opportunity for a Service Administrator to join their Service Team based in Tabubil in Papua New Guinea.

This role primarily exists to provide administrative support to the Business Centre Service department to ensure that our customers receive the best quality product and service.

Reporting to the Service Manager, your competency and experience will include:

  • Ensure safety goals are achieved through personal commitment, no harm to self or others and participation in safety initiatives.
  • Ensure business direction, team purpose, and change agenda is understood, agreed to and work activities are aligned.
  • Provide a high-quality, cost-effective service that exceeds customer expectations and returns nil customer complaints.
  • Ensure labour hours have been correctly encoded and that any labour hours are accounted for daily.
  • Ensure all segments are closed with appropriate parts, labour and miscellaneous booked to the job to ensure accurate customer invoicing.
  • Prepare and close segments on completion of work.
  • Proactively seek and maintain collaborative working relationships with peers and manager to deliver results.

About You:

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:


  • Must have Grade 12 school certificate.
  • Trade qualification is desirable.
  • Tertiary qualification in Office Management/Business Administration.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Proven previous experience working with Caterpillar parts and products.
  • Commercial and financial understanding of Segments in Process (SIP).
  • A continuous improvement, commitment, and positive attitude towards change.
  • Excellent computer knowledge, working with Microsoft Office.
