About the Role

St Barbara is seeking a capable, organised and safety-focused Travel Supervisor to join its Simberi Operations team. This role is responsible for supervising employee and contractor travel arrangements, flight bookings, accommodation, charter schedules and transport logistics to ensure smooth and efficient site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international flights, charters and accommodation bookings.
• Prepare and distribute travel itineraries, flight manifests and charter schedules.
• Ensure compliance with company travel policies and procedures.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve booking efficiency.
• Coordinate the transport of personnel, baggage and freight between the Simberi camp and airstrip.
• Supervise, train and support team members.
• Maintain accurate records and promote a strong workplace safety culture.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in the mining industry.
• Previous experience in the travel industry.
• Current driver's licence.
• Working knowledge of travel policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of aircraft handling, loading and refuelling procedures.
• Good computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets.
• Strong organisational, planning, communication and supervisory skills.

Work Locations / Points of Hire
