Ok Tedi Mining Limited (OTML) is pleased to announce its 2026 Tertiary Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme (USS) for eligible second-year undergraduate students. This program is designed to support high-achieving students in their academic journey while preparing them for rewarding careers in the mining industry.
About the Scholarship
The OTML USS provides sponsorship for the final two years of university study, access to world-class industrial training programs, and a guaranteed placement in OTML’s Graduate Development Scheme upon graduation.
As Papua New Guinea’s largest single employer in Western Province, with 98 percent of its workforce being nationals, OTML is committed to nurturing local talent through extensive training, development, and mentorship opportunities across all disciplines.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be in their 2nd year of undergraduate study in 2025
- Be between 18 and 25 years of age
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.5 or Weighted Average of 75 percent and above
- Not be sponsored by another organisation, company, or government body

- Cover Letter (addressed to The Supervisor – Performance and Development, Training and Development Department, Ok Tedi Mining Limited, PO Box 1, Tabubil 332, Western Province)
- Certified Academic Transcripts (Semesters 1 and 2 of 2024, and Semester 1 of 2025)
- One Character Reference Letter
