Kumul Petroleum Holdings Limited is Papua New Guinea’s national petroleum and energy company. We are inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals to fill the following positions with our Motuoka Fuel Facility Project:

1. TERMINAL MANAGER

Reports to: Fuel Services Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily terminal operations: cargo handling, inventory control, product storage, quality compliance, transportation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and industry standards.
• Manage and support terminal employees, budget, resources, forecasts.
• Oversee maintenance and reliability of terminal assets.
• Develop and manage terminal procedures and systems.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Engineering, Technical, or Marine.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in oil and gas or petroleum.
• Experience in terminal operations and management.
• Knowledge of CMMS software and maintenance systems.

• 2. TERMINAL OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

Reports to: Terminal Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise terminal operations: loading, offloading, blending.
• Ensure compliance with regulations.
• Monitor inventory and manage stock levels.
• Support terminal project implementation and training.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Engineering, Technical, or Marine.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in terminal or oil & gas operations.
• Knowledge of product blending, inventory management.

3. MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR

Reports to: Terminal Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage terminal asset maintenance and preventative plans.
• Develop maintenance work orders, equipment checks.
• Maintain CMMS system and vendor communication.
• Lead terminal asset inspection and performance tracking.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of industrial maintenance systems and equipment.

4. LOGISTICS, PROCUREMENT & WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR

Reports to: Engineering Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Support procurement and warehousing activities.
• Secure local warehouse to support KPHL operations.
• Develop systems for logistics, procurement, warehousing.
• Budgeting and inventory management.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma with logistics or coordination experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role.
• Strong communication and planning skills.

5. SHORE OFFICER

Reports to: Terminal Operations Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Manage mooring/unmooring of vessels.
• Coordinate with pilots, customs, tugboats.
• Issue security permits and manage schedules.
• Provide real-time ship status and documentation.

Qualifications/Experience

• Diploma in Engineering or Marine.
• Background in vessel operations preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

6. CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR

Reports to: Terminal Operations Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Operate terminal control systems.
• Monitor alarms, systems, emergency shutdowns.
• Ensure product integrity, environmental compliance.
• Support HSE activities.

Qualifications/Experience

• Diploma in Engineering or Technical field.
• Minimum 3 years in DCS or Control Room operation.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and procedures.
• Computer literacy, including CMMS and MS Office.

7. PLANT OPERATOR

Reports to: Terminal Operations Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain terminal loading/offloading systems.
• Monitor product quality, pressure, temperature.
• Report faults and ensure smooth operations.
• Complete daily shift reports.

Skills/Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certificate.

• Minimum 3 years in oil/gas plant operations.
• Mechanical aptitude, strong safety focus.
• Basic computer literacy.

8. DISPATCH OFFICER

Reports to: Terminal Operations Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery and dispatch of fuel products.
• Liaise with clients, monitor dispatch activities.
• Issue documentation and maintain logs.
• Ensure timely deliveries.

Skills/Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in dispatch or transport logistics.
• Understanding of petroleum distribution processes.
• Communication and organizational skills.
