About KPHL

  KPHL’s vision is to maximize the benefits from the country’s petroleum resources and use them to stimulate downstream gas processing, nationwide electrification, industrial development and grow the national economy.

  KPHL is more than just an oil & gas company, with commitments to developing PNG’s community – from their world-class training facility for developing juniors in technical and production disciplines; to rural electrification, renewable energy research, gas processing, major health support initiatives including funding to the nation’s cancer & heart disease services; and support of a number of sporting codes. 

  About KPHL’s GDP

  Kicking off in March 2023, the GDP runs for 1-2 years, and aims to develop young, enthusiastic Papua New Guinean professionals with their world-class program, providing a successful career path within their organisation.

  The GDP will give graduates the opportunity to work alongside a cadre of experienced professionals in the technical units and other business-support teams across KPHL. As a KPHL graduate, you will build practical/technical knowledge and skills across your respective role and the practices across the oil & gas industry.

Eligibility Criteria

  • KPHL invites graduates to apply with the following criteria:
  • Have graduated (or are graduating in 2023) with a Bachelor’s degree in the required discipline, from a recognized institution in PNG or overseas. Applicants must be in their final year of study or have graduated within the last 3 years;
  • Have a GPA of 3.0 or above (as demonstrated in your most recent academic transcript). Or  excellent academic results in their final year of study;
  • Have a strong desire to learn and develop in their career;
  • Are motivated and able to work in a diverse and multi-cultural environment;
  • Have no more than 2 years’ work experience;
  • Between 21 and 35 years’ old; and
  • Can provide a Police clearance
