Based in Tabubil and reporting to the Supervisor Trades Training, you will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of training programs and courses for the requirements of OTML for Electrical Trades, specifically electrical within the Trades Training team.

Your role will involve:


  • Coordinating , developing, implementing, delivering  and managing all training requirements for the apprentices and employees in  the electrical trade;
  • Liaise with line department regarding on the job rotational field training and progress of apprentices and trainees
  • Providing Counselling with a drive to mentor and nurture apprentices towards developing good work ethics and personal character and;
  • Responsible for facilitating Trade Testing programs for Electrical field.

 

To be considered, you must possess the following:

  • Electrical Tradesperson Certificate
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment ( Desirable : Diploma in Teaching/TVET)
  • 5-7 years of post-trade experience and 2 years of supervisory experience will be an advantage
  • Experience and exposure to refrigeration and air conditioning systems will be well regarded
  • Understands NATTB Competency Based Standards and Trade Testing Systems is desirable
  • High level of competency in Micro Soft applications and;
  • Excellent documentation, communication, interpersonal, team and analytical skills.
