THE annual Papua New Guinea resources industry workshop that will be hosted by the Chamber of Mines and Petroleum will start today in Madang.
The workshop will be addressed by key industry executives. Among the speakers, ExxonMobil PNG Ltd managing director Peter Graham will provide an update on the PNG LNG project.
Chamber of Mines and Petroleum executive director Greg Anderson said other speakers will look at the current state of the mining and petroleum sectors and major advanced projects.
Media personnel from various organisations who attend the two day programme will be given the opportunity to visit Ramu Nickel’s processing plant at Basamuk on Saturday.
