Oil Search appoints new non-executive director

OIL Search Ltd has appointed Dr Eileen Doyle as a non-executive director of the company, effective from next February.

This is to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Fiona Harris due to health reasons.
Board chairman Rick Lee on behalf of the board thanked Harris for her contribution to the company.
“On behalf of the board, I would like to acknowledge the valuable service Fiona has provided to the board of Oil Search since her appointment as a director in March 2013,” Lee said.
“The board and the company have benefited greatly from Fiona’s considerable financial and governance expertise.

“I would like to sincerely thank Fiona for her role in the company’s achievements and wish her a speedy recovery to full health.
“The company is pleased to announce that Dr Eileen Doyle will be appointed as a non-executive director of the company, with effect from Feb 18, 2016, to fill the vacancy.”
Doyle’s business experience includes senior operational roles at BHP Limited and as chief executive officer of CSR’s panel’s division.

Doyle is a director of GPT Group Limited and Boral Limited and deputy chairman of CSIRO.
She previously served on other boards including Bradken Limited, One Steel Limited, Steel and Tube Limited New Zealand and others.
